Alysha Bork
Hey! I’m Alysha Bork. I’m a grade 9 student at St. Clair Secondary School. I’m THRILLED to be part of this expedition. I can’t wait!

KENYA ADVENTURER
Jambo! Jina langu ni Alysha Bork. That means “Hi, my name is…” in Swahili. I live here in Sarnia with my parents and younger brother. I think it is very important to help our community, and this year ahead will give me the skills to do that. Some things I like to do in my free time are play basketball, listen to music, and hang out with my friends. When I’m not doing that I like to volunteer at my school and through Rotary. This trip is a great experience, and can you think of a better opportunity to build my leadership skills?! I’m happy to be doing this because it is about building teamwork, and when all of the hard work is done our reward is getting to go to Kenya.  I’m most looking forward to the safari; I think it’ll be so cool seeing all the different types of animals and scenery. Watch for my blogs on my progress throughout the year. Kwaneri! (Bye).
